Fall 2007 Fashion Trends at a Glance
The time for a wardrobe updation has come. Forget the frivolous and
peppy spring-summer collections as more classy and subdued fall
collections take over. As always, there is a lot of variety to suit
everyone's tastes. Here are the key trends this season:

1. The Slim, close-fitting look is in. Straight silhouettes are the
rage this season and go very well with the weather and celebrations.
Layers are all gone. If you are looking for some swing, a sleek
A-Line should do the job.
2. Colors are subdued but the usual earthy colors that are
associated with fall are accompanied by a wider palette. Metallics,
Gray, Halloween Burnt Orange and Browns which is a Fall staple, are
the colors of the season. Multi-colored outfits are also seen in
many collections. Navy blue and black are being teamed up.
3. Prints are bold and range from geometric to plaid (which looks
like it is here to stay for a while).
4. Menswear style pants are the new addition this season. Retro wide
pants have made a comeback in many designer collections and are
providing a relief from the usual stuff seen.

5. Chic and classy has another variation to it - ultra-feminine. If
you love the ultra-feminine retro look, then there is a great deal
for you this season. Pencil skirts, bell-sleeves, cinched waists are
all here to stay for the season.
6. Belts continue to reign. Belted dresses and coats are a popular
trend this season continuing from the past season.
7. Leather is back with a bang. Go hi-tech with leather jackets and
skirts in colors other than black. You will see leather apparel in
many colors including yellow, but brown looks outstanding in this
season's hottest pieces.
8. Sequins are on almost everything and are adding sparkle and
glitter to dresses, handbags, shoes and pretty much everything.
9. Bows are also continuing their reign just like belts. Large and
small bows kept making significant appearances in many collections.
