Do you believe hijabs are becoming a fashion-trend instead of a religious obligation?

Salam, I'm not here to judge anyone or their way of dressing, but it seems as though the hijab is becoming fashionable in different styles and patterns. There isn't a certain color code for hijab, but isn't there a boundary line for modesty.

*Personally, I think that hijabs should be simple because Allah(swt) wanted muslim women to be protected from society and men's lust upon women. In example: the time of ignorance
-We can see different cultures making hijab into something lavishing and funky. Where is the sense of modesty?

I commend my hijabi wearing muslimahs..because I myself is one and understand that sometimes wearing a hijab can be hard, but i wear it for Allah and Allah alone.

If we are trying to get attention from people and attract men's eyes then how are we any different from girls without hijab? I'm not saying girls with stylish hijabs don't have eman...modesty is just part of who we are and it shows people that we demand respect!!

Well it depend what you mean by Fashioned-trend!! it depend who you are referring to! Because not every one wear it for Islamic reason.Some wear it for beauty, some beause they have to, some because they are forced and some do it just because the wanna feel good about themselves and other for Allah, it also depend to what extreme of fashion you're refering! Wearing color hijab and pattern mean drawing attention? i don't know never felt that. how would it draw attention as your body is covered with loose clothes only your face would show, so sparkles is harmful? i don't know, i guess i never thought about it. i respect all muslimah who wears a hijaab its not easy!!! No matter what we do our hair is more beautiful to look at and more appealing than a few patterns.

The difference is that those muslimah are covering thier bodies and shapes...
