College Fashion trends Fall 2008?

I'm starting college this fall and was curious about the new fall trends. I remember going from middle school to high school and all of a sudden everyone dressed differently. There were just certain stores you didn't shop at anymore. Is the transition to college similar? No I know its important to have your own style and all that but I think looking at trends and trying to be in style is fun. So what do you suggest? Any stores or particular styles (i.e. skinny jeans, bangles, etc.) that are great for the college student?

basically college conists of anything comfortable you can study in, fashion isn't really improtant. Get a ton of shelf tank tops, sweatshirts, jeans, and shoes you can walk a lot in. thats all that matters, everybody is crazy busy so looks don't matter quite so much. In fact its super strange when somebody puts a ton of time into what they wear.

Fall Fashion Trends 2010

Every woman wants to know how to dress fashionably.  But understanding what the fashions are of the season can sometimes be difficult and contradictory.  Here are some of the probable fashion trends that you will see this fall.

If there was one word to describe this fall it would be ‘trendy'.  Women will be all about new accessories to freshen up their wardrobes since the economy is still down.  Bold necklines and prints are in so now is the time to check your closet for items that will fit in with these trends.  Pencil skirts in bright colors and tops with lots of embellishment will steal attention from the office to the evening.  Animal prints never seem to go out of fashion and will definitely make an appearance in many designers' fall clothing lines.

BIG is another word that describes this fall.  It seems that as people's budgets shrink their jewelry gets larger to compensate.  Bangles up the arm, two or three necklaces, cocktail rings, and cuff bracelets will all be in style this fall.  Following the rocker chic style of the spring, dark crystals and graphite will add a still edgy but feminine look to many outfits.

The oversized handbag trend will continue as well.  Look for celebrities continuing to sport large bags in every style imaginable.  Turquoise and Gold are both trendy colors for bags this fall.  Silver, although neutral, will be popping up as more and more women realize the crisp sophistication this color imparts to their style.  A fancy gray clutch would be a perfect addition to your wardrobe for this fall and winter season.

Fringe is very vogue right now and looks like it will hang around for a while (pun intended).  Fringed jackets, shoes, and handbags especially will be popping in neutral colors like gray, beige, black, and white.  To totally fit in with the current trends, an animal print (zebra perhaps) handbag with black fringed boots would look marvelous.  Remember fashion is all about looking fabulous, being confident in yourself, and having fun!
