What should a 15 year old girl wear to court?

My 2 guy friends and me and my other friend who is ALSO a girl, got curfew tickets in July for being out at 3:30 am, and we have to go to court this week. One of my friends is a girl also, and we have no idea what to wear. Especially since I don't own any "long skirts".

I was thinking about wearing light jeans with no rips, a plain black shirt, and black flats.

1. Is that too un-fancy?
2. If it is, what would be good to wear?
3. Will the judge go easier if we dress nicer?

Also, when the cop came up to our car to ask us for all our names and information etc., I asked him "can you get that flashlight of my face?"

Is that bad?
Would I get in extra trouble for being disrespectful to a police-man?
We definitely WERE NOT drinking or doing drugs by the way, I'm only in trouble for the curfew violation.

You will find the majority of people being heard in court are very under-dressed. Many of them are lowlifes, drug dealers, and prostitutes and they come in in their street clothes. You could wear light jeans and any t-shirt and you wouldn't stand out.

However, I strongly advise you step it up a notch. Dress as you would to an interview. I would go with black pants and any nice unrevealing blouse. Even add a suit jacket or blazer. You'll stand out like a sore thumb, but in a good way. Dressing professional will earn you respect and the prosecutor and judge will appreciate it and will assume you're serious about not diobeying the law again. This will help your case.
